The Mindfully Made product line is rooted in quality, transparency and intention. Every ingredient is thoughtfully selected to ensure it is safe, effective and aligned with our commitment to supporting you and your family.
We prioritize organic ingredients and source locally whenever possible, working with trusted growers and suppliers who share our standards for integrity and care. If there is ever uncertainty around an ingredient, we simply leave it out.
We recognize the longstanding role botanicals have played in traditional wellness and take great care in how they are selected and used. Our products are made with ingredients sourced as close to their natural state as possible - including organic herbs, oils, butters and essential oils - chosen for their simplicity, quality and purpose.
Our Ingredient Standards
Mindfully Made products are crafted using traditional preparation methods that preserve the integrity and beneficial properties of each ingredient. Many of our herbal oils are slowly infused over time, allowing the full spectrum of the plant to be gently extracted.
We prioritize certified organic herbs whenever possible and source from trusted suppliers who share our commitment to quality, transparency and responsible growing practices - including long-standing partners such as Mountain Rose Herbs.
The oils and fats we use are first-press and unrefined, meaning they are never bleached, deodorized or extracted using chemical solvents. This ensures they retain their natural nourishing qualities.
Essential oils are used thoughtfully and in carefully measured amounts. All formulations follow established safety guidelines, including those outlined by respected aromatherapy expert Robert Tisserand.
For our ingestible products, we use whole, high-quality ingredients chosen for their freshness, purity and traditional role in supporting overall wellness.
Acacia
The acacia tree is native to Sudan and produces a hard sap that has many health benefits. Acacia is a fantastic source of prebiotics, which nourish the beneficial bacteria in the gut. One study concluded that acacia is effective, if not more effective than the store bought prebiotic supplement "inulin". High in fiber, acacia can help alleviate constipation and discomfort associated with digestive disorders.

Aloe Vera Juice
Aloe Vera is a powerhouse for the skin. It's key constituents (ß-sitosterol, polysaccharides, anthraquinones, etc...) provide moisturizing, anti-inflammatory, anti-reddening, anti-itching, cell proliferation (which leads to faster healing), anti-reddening, UV protection, anti-oxidant properties, and protection to our skin barrier. Our formula uses aloe vera at maxium usage rates to gain these skin moisturizing and anti-inflammatory effects.

Astragalus is an herb studied and known traditionally for its powerful health benefits. In Chinese medicine this herb assists the spleen which brings energy, increases appetite, and improves digestion. In Western Herbalism, astragalus has been studied for strengthening the immune system and protecting the liver. This food-like herb is safe for all ages. It is recommended to simmer astragalus for a minimum of a half hour to extract the medicinal value.

Sweet cinnamon adds a subtly sweet and warming undertone to the flavor profile and provides health benefits as well. Cinnamon has remarkable anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties, plus the relieve of nausea and vomiting all of which relieve common symptoms of colds and flu.

Clove
Clove adds a pleasant warm flavor and acts in several ways to combat colds and flu. As an "expectorant", cloves assist the body to produce less severe and more productive coughs. Lastly, there is some evidence that certain compounds in clove act as antihistamines, keeping sinus passageways clear and open.

Coconut oil is packed with skin-loving properties! It softens skin and serves as a protective layer on lips to keep in moisture. Additionally, this oil contains ferulic acid, a strong anti-oxidant which can work to prevent skin aging and reduce age spots for maturing skin. Grapeseed oil is the superstar of this body oil; offering a light skin feel and contributing to the absorbent nature of the product. Honey (Local and Raw)
You can feel good about the low sugar content of our juice; sourced ONLY from nature! Local and raw honey contributes less than 1 g of sugar per adult serving size, 12 times less than the average store-bought glucose-based elderberry syrup. Sugar is counterproductive to up regulating the immune system which is the goal of this product. This local honey is naturally anti-allergenic because it contains many of the pollens, dust and molds that cause most environmental allergies.
