Mindfully Made is a creative outlet for my passion to research, formulate, and handcraft the highest quality culinary & skin care preparations sourced from clean, natural-state ingredients. These traditional apothecary preparations seamlessly weave into the natural rhythms of the family kitchen & skin care routines in the communities we serve, it’s beautiful!

Part Time Position: Special Event & Farmers Market Team Member

Location: Overland Park & Greater KC Area

Work Hours:

  • 8-10 hours weekly during farmers market season (primarily April - December with some indoor markets throughout the winter)

    • Needed at least two Saturdays per month

    • Approximate hours 6a - 2:30p

  • Additional variable hours

    • In-store demonstrations, special events & expos held year round

Job Summary: This position is best suited for candidates who are excited to:

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the Mindfully Made product line. Current customer passionate about the products?! Wonderful!

  • Represent Mindfully Made at local pop-up events, in store demonstrations & farmers markets to share our company purpose while building strong community connections.

  • Provide excellent customer service and enjoy positive interaction with others…share your *spark*!

  • Increase knowledge of local food production.

  • Apply past experience working in holistic health related, customer service or sales positions.

Job Duties:

  • Build in-person relationships with market goers, fellow vendors & event/in-store staff.

  • Work event independently with a strong ability to problem-solve effectively and efficiently.

  • Independently set up & tear down booth with tent, boxes, tables, display stands, signs, product, etc.

  • Drive personal vehicle both ways to market sites or meet staff at the assigned event.*

  • Learn and carry out good food handling practices to provide product samples to customers.

  • Conduct credit card & cash transactions.

Needed Skills/Competencies:

  • Motivated to help & serve others.

  • Provide excellent communication skills.

  • Enjoy customer service & being around people.

  • Create & maintain inviting table display.

  • Passionate about holistic living. (not a requirement but a major +)

  • Able to lift 30 lbs.

  • Enjoy working in the outdoor elements.

Salary: $18/hour - Contractor Position

Part Time Position: Kitchen Production Assistant Team Member

Location: Lawrence

Work Hours:

  • Hours vary and are scheduled as needed. Typically during weekdays with evening and weekend hours available as well.

Job Summary:

  • Mindfully Made is hiring a Kitchen Production Assistant to help with small-batch food and wellness product preparation.

  • This is a hands-on, physical role in a production kitchen environment that requires focus, reliability, and a strong work ethic.

  • This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in producing high-quality goods that support wellness in our community.

Job Duties:

  • Assist with preparing and bottling food-based products

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and good personal hygiene

  • Perform repetitive kitchen tasks with consistency and care

  • Lift, carry, and move items weighing 30+ pounds

  • Follow instructions precisely with attention to timing, safety, and detail

  • Help with kitchen cleanup, labeling, organizing and restocking

Needed Skills/Competencies:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to stay focused on repetitive tasks

  • Willingness to follow food safety and cleanliness protocols

  • Physically able to lift heavy items and stand for long periods

  • Punctual, dependable and team-oriented

  • Previous kitchen or food-handling experience is a plus, but not required
