Elderberry Syrup
A lightly sweet, family-friendly blend handcrafted with real ingredients.
Mindfully Made’s Elderberry Syrup preparation is the perfect child-friendly drink to keep your family healthy! Unlike the typical heavy tasting store bought elderberry syrups that can be difficult to stomach, our elderberry preparation is lightly sweet with a hint of citrus to attract the kids with undertones of warm spices adults enjoy. We use only the freshest ingredients, as close to nature as possible, and you will taste the difference!
Each bottle is fresh-pressed by our family in small batches throughout the cold & flu season. With over 3,100mg of elderberry per adult serving, the preparation is very concentrated, although never made from concentrate (or reconstituted berries). Fresh elderberry is best!

Fresh Elderberry - Why It is Different
At Mindfully Made, we partner directly with Midwest elderberry growers to use only fresh, certified organic elderberries - never dried, never powdered and never from concentrate. This close connection to the land and the people who grow the berries allows us to preserve their freshness, support regional agriculture and ensure the integrity of every batch.
Fresh elderberries carry a depth and vibrancy that cannot be replicated once the berry has been dried or heavily processed. By working exclusively with fresh fruit, we are able to honor the berry in its truest form.
This commitment requires more care, coordination and seasonality - but it is essential to the quality of what we create. Each bottle reflects not only the strength of the elderberry itself, but also the farmers who grew it and the intention behind every step.
You will taste the difference - a richness and balance that comes from fresh ingredients and a process rooted in respect for both the plant and the tradition.
This is Elderberry Syrup as it was meant to be: fresh, regional and deeply connected to its source!

What is Elderberry?
Elderberries come from the Sambucus nigra plant and have been used for centuries as part of traditional herbal practices. The deep purple berries have long been valued for their natural immune-supporting properties and their role in seasonal wellness.
If you are not familiar with elderberry, this berry truly is one of nature’s most treasured plant allies. Elderberries are rich in naturally occurring compounds, including anthocyanins and flavonoids, which have been traditionally used to support the body’s immune response - especially during times of seasonal transition.
For generations, Elderberry Syrup has been used as a simple, nourishing way to help the body stay resilient and supported. When prepared properly, elderberries offer a gentle, plant-based way to care for the body using ingredients rooted in tradition.
Our preparation honors this history - using fresh elderberries, careful sourcing and small-batch methods that preserve both freshness and integrity.
Some of the amazing benefits of the elderberry:
