Tallow’s unique fatty acid profile (oleic acid, palmitic acid and stearic acid) help strengthen our skin’s protective out layer (which is made of fats) - improving the barrier function (which helps block out harmful particles and keeps moisture in) and support the skin’s natural healing process.

Slowly infused, carefully whipped
Every jar begins with locally sourced grass-fed tallow and a slow botanical infusion. We infuse certified organic calendula, chamomile, lavender, elderflower and self-heal into jojoba oil for several weeks before blending it with nourishing oils and hand-whipping each small batch. It is a slow process, but it creates a cream that is intentional from start to finish.

One of the things I love most about this cream is how low maintenance it is. I keep a jar by my bathroom sink and use it morning and evening, especially on my face, neck and hands. I wash my face, apply hydrosol and finish with just a tiny amount of Whipped Tallow Cream. So simple and I love the natural glow and skin feel it gives.

This is our most common question at farmers markets and one of the biggest surprises once people try it. Although this cream is made with grass-fed tallow, most people don't notice the tallow itself. Instead, they experience the light, uplifting scent of lavender, sweet orange and frankincense essential oils. Subtle, calming and fresh without being overpowering.

Our Whipped Tallow Cream is made without preservatives or synthetic stabilizers; it naturally responds to warmer temperatures. If it softens during shipping or on a hot day, simply place the jar upright in the refrigerator until it firms up again. The texture may become a little less whipped, but the cream will be just as effective. We'll also include a few simple care tips in your order confirmation email to help you get the most from your jar.
